Rail lines connect the Mercer County to some of the nation's leading metropolitan centers.  Bus and rail services include Amtrak, New Jersey Transit Bus and Rail, Princeton Junction Railroad Station and "Dinky" shuttle as well as the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) bus and rail system.  Mercer Airport is located close to Trenton.
